A social welfare project of STEEL AUTHORITY OF INDIA EMPLOYEES’ COOPERATIVE CREDIT SOCIETY LIMITED
The idea of setting up the Ispat Cooperative Hospital in a rural area was first conceptualized in 2006 as a social welfare activity of the Society and the same was included in Society’s vision document titled ‘Vision 2012’ which was adopted in its 39th Annual General Meeting. The hospital shall be a secondary care level Multispecialty Hospital to provide medical care of the highest quality to all segments of the rural and semi urban population mainly to the downtrodden at an affordable cost.
